Lefteris Tzelepis is an experienced professional with advanced knowledge of the Information Security industry for nearly 25 years, successfully balancing strong technical and people management skills. He has solid IT & networks background, specialized in Information and Cyber Security, actively engaged in consulting, teaching and management of large enterprises and projects. His field experience combined with marked leading certifications on Information Security, Cloud Security and Project Management, contribute to the understanding of modern Business Information Systems’ needs, evaluation and implementation of Security Best Practices. From 2015 to 2022 he established and led the IT Security team of the Hellenic National Lottery, OPAP SA. As a member of the Information Security Committee and the wider Group’s Security forum, he successfully delivered the annual security roadmap plans, including IT-Security Operations and Incident Management. In 2019 he was elected in the BoD of the (ISC)2 Hellenic Chapter, contributing to the chapter’s activities until 2023 -as Board or Audit committee member. Since December 2022, he has assumed the role of CISO at Steelmet, with the aim to design and implement the security strategy for all companies of Viohalco. Holding the overall Governance of the Information Security function, his main objectives are security of the organization's IT and OT systems, development and implementation of business resilience, and raising the employees’ awareness on information security.
