Mr. Bogomil Manchev is the Executive Director of GCR AD and Chairman of the Bulgarian Atomic Forum (Bulatom), bringing decades of executive leadership to the power engineering sector. He holds a Ph.D. in Thermal and Nuclear Power Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia and initially established his operational expertise at the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant. Throughout his career, Mr. Manchev has spearheaded major energy initiatives, specializing in nuclear safety and reliability analysis, plant lifetime extension projects, and complex power infrastructure development. An active industry advocate and author of over 80 scientific publications, he frequently contributes expert insight on energy strategy, nuclear safety assurance, and project management at international forums.
